Become a Member
In order to be a member of the Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists (MSA), you must be a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). The Minnesota Society of Anesthesiologists (MSA) has asked the ASA to collect MSA and ASA dues together, at one time, on one invoice.
You will be taken to the ASA website, where you can learn more about ASA membership and follow links to join today. If you are already a member of ASA, log in to your ASA member profile to add an MSA membership.
If you have questions or need any assistance, please contact Member Services & Inquiries at the ASA headquarters office.

You will be taken to the ASA website, where you will be prompted for your ASA login ID and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to pay both your MSA and ASA dues together at one time. While renewing, be sure to review your member profile so your contact information is up to date.
If you would prefer to renew your membership by phone, or if you need any assistance, please contact Member Services & Inquiries at the ASA headquarters office.
Component Society FASA Designation Program
In May 2017, the American Society of Anesthesiologists launched the Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists™ (FASA) designation program. The FASA designation is ASA’s highest acknowledgment that recognizes years of dedication to exceptional education, leadership and commitment to the specialty. ASA Active members who meet specific qualifications and criteria are invited to apply for the FASA designation. Achieving the FASA designation recognizes you as a leader dedicated to excellence in the field of anesthesiology to your patients, your practice and your specialty.
Participation in MSA leadership, education and advocacy opportunities helps qualify Active members for this prestigious designation. Full details on eligibility, qualifications and the FASA application can be found here.
